Description: The Queen Anne style became popular toward the end of the 19th century and continued into the first decade of the 20th century. Pattern books, mail-order plans, manufacturing, mass production and distribution were popularizing the notion of architectural style. Manufactured products, doors, windows, and spindles, were used in a more decorative manner. Decorative patterns of masonry and wood siding materials are also common in the Queen Anne style.
