Development

This program was developed by the City of Stillwater and its Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) in 2008, after recommendation from Donald Empson of Empson Archives. Initial content for the website was developed by the 106 Group, Donald Empson of Empson Archives, Suki Thomsen, and Carmen Tschofen. Ongoing efforts are conducted by the the City of Stillwater and its HPC, Stillwater residents, and volunteers.


Funding

A portion of this project was funded by the people of Stillwater, authorized by the Stillwater City Council. A portion of this project was funded by the people of the State of Minnesota, through a Minnesota Historical & Cultural Grant. A portion of this project was funded by the people of the United States of America, with Federal funds from the National Park Service, U.S. Department of Interior, through the Minnesota Historical Society under provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act, as amended.
